About the Role
Quantic is hiring a Senior Ruby on Rails engineer, based remotely, to help us build and grow our interactive learning platform, content authoring system, alumni network, and career services. In this role, you'll work with our engineering team as we scale our flagship platform to learners around the world through our web and mobile apps.

As part of a growing startup, you'll have the opportunity to move between a variety of important projects throughout the platform. We need our engineers to be versatile and enthusiastic about learning to tackle new problems every day, often working directly with stakeholders across the organization.

  • Significant experience with Ruby on Rails at scale
  • Significant experience working with production SQL databases
  • Significant experience building REST and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Knowledge of best practices for production deployment, monitoring, and debugging of web services
  • Comfort working with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Authorization to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PostgreSQL in a production environment
  • Experience with DevOps best practices
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, K8s, Helm, etc.)
  • Experience at an agile start-up
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a similar field of study
